
Mechanically Challenged-Viola High School Robotics will be hosting an Elementary Robotics Coding camp: "Mechanically Challenged Balloon Warfare" this summer. This camp is open to students in 4th-6th grade. It will take place on June 20-24th from 1 pm to 4pm. The cost is $30 for the entire week and registration will begin at 12:30 on June 20. Viola High School report cards are available for pickup in the high school office this Thursday and Friday from 8:00-2:00.

Due to the high chance of thunderstorms tomorrow, the Viola Band’s trip to Silver Dollar City has been postponed until Tuesday May 31, 2022. The band will be leaving school at 7:15 a.m. and returning at 9:30. Thank you for your support.

Viola Kindergarten graduation will be live-streamed on the school’s Facebook page for anyone unable to attend tonight’s event starting at 6:00. Elementary awards held tomorrow morning at 9:00 will also be live-streamed. Please follow VSD #15 on Facebook for updates and all live-streamed events.

Athletic physicals, required for participation in high school sports, will be held in the Viola Elementary Gymnasium at 1 pm tomorrow.

Junior High Sports Banquet will be Friday, May 20th at 12:15 PM in the High School Gym. Parents are welcome.

Reminder: High school awards will be at 9:00 a.m. in the gym today, and high school graduation will be at 8:00 this evening.

Viola Elementary 4th grade student Jackson Cunningham won the Fulton County art contest held by NAEC for the 2022 Old Timer’s Day. His fox print will be featured on tee shirts provided to squirt race participants during the Fulton County Memorial Day events. Congratulations, Jackson!



The date of the athletic physical clinic has been changed to May 20th at 1:30. The clinic will be held in the elementary gym. Any student entering grades 7-12 that plans on participating on any athletic teams next year must have a yearly physical.

ACT Aspire testing begins tomorrow. It is imperative that all students attend and be to school on time Tuesday and Wednesday. Thanks!

Regional Baseball games at Marked Tree have been rained out for today. Makeup times for tomorrow have not been determined yet.

Viola School buses may have flooded areas that they can not get to this morning. Please call the school after 8:00 if your child was unable to get to school because of the rain this morning.
