The 10th graders in Biology class are learning how engineering and science work hand in hand to solve real-world problems such as water scarcity. They are designing, building, and testing their own working models of a solar still to produce clean drinking water.

Viola Elementary will be having the annual Fall Festival, on Friday, October 7th. It will be held at the Viola city park again this year. The Fall Festival will be from 6-8 pm.

The cross country meet for today at mountain home has been moved to Thursday the 22nd

There will be a cross country meet on Tuesday the 20th at Mountain Home. The address for the meet is 1600 S College St, Mountain Home, AR.
The junior girls race will start first at 4:00. Junior boys will start at 4:30. Senior Girls will start at 5:00. And Senior Boys will start at 5:30. The bus will leave school for the meet at 2:00 on Tuesday.

Physical fitness testing for K-6 will begin last of September through October until each class is finished. I will test endurance, muscle strength, cardio and flexibility. Kindergarten's locomotor skills will also be evaluated.
