Second graders put their vocabulary knowledge to the
test! Students had to apply their vocabulary words to a hands on building activity. Check out their pastures, peaks, culverts, and tufts! They found things that were jagged, prickly, and smooth. Great job builders!

On Thursday afternoon, Viola Elementary students visited Southfork Nursing & Rehab, sang Christmas carols, and gave gift bags to the residents and staff. Mrs. Shrable coordinated the visit and put the gift bags together, along with Ms. Jennings and Mr. Muchmore. It was a great day.

What a wonderful night at the Viola Elementary Christmas musical. The kids sang and acted well. Enjoy these "Elfie Selfies"

We would like to extend our thanks to Superintendent Kyle McCarn and school board members Mike Richardson and Charlie Wray for dedicating their time and efforts to attend the annual Arkansas School Boards Association conference in Little Rock. Their commitment to professional development demonstrates their dedication to enhancing the quality of education in our community. We appreciate their valuable participation and the insights they bring back to benefit our school. Their continued leadership and involvement are instrumental in shaping a brighter future for our students. We appreciate you!

Merry Christmas from the Viola High School staff!
Thank you, Mrs. Walker for putting this together!

On Saturday, FCCLA members volunteered at a Christmas party hosted by The CALL of Baxter and Fulton County. Students assisted with setup, painted faces, and facilitated games. The CALL provides support groups and continuing education opportunities for foster and adoptive families, as well as resources through their CALL Mall, which includes clothing, shoes, personal hygiene products, diapers, and baby items.
In addition to their volunteer efforts, FCCLA members also collected clothing and diapering items from the community. We would like to thank everyone who helped make the drive a success.

Our students had a blast building gingerbread houses using graham crackers, icing, and all sorts of fun toppings of their choice! Not only was it a deliciously creative project, but it also gave them the chance to test their engineering and design skills.
From figuring out the best way to assemble the structure to adding their own unique decorations, everyone had a great time learning while creating these festive masterpieces!
