
Our biology students recently completed their first dissection lab with a living organism- bananas! It was a fun and engaging way for them to practice their skills while exploring the world of plant biology. Afterward, the students looked at the seeds through a microscope, deepening their understanding even further. Laughter and teamwork filled the room as they learned together!

The Viola SR Boys golf team represented our school well today at the 1a State Tournament at Thunder Bayou Golf Course in Blytheville. The boys posted a team score of 299, which was 6th out of 12 teams.
Beau Cowgill led the way with a 93. This was the 12th best score of the day. Kody Hart finished with a 102. Gunner Cowgill had a 103. And Mattix Rowden scored a 111.
This was our boys 4th year in a row to qualify for the state tournament. And our 6th year in a row to have a player finish in the top 15.

After diving deep into the concepts of force and motion, our talented 8th grade students have been hard at work designing and building their very own STEM pinball machines! 🎢✨ Students had to apply their learning while fostering creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills! From brainstorming ideas to constructing ramps and flippers, these young innovators are bringing their designs to life!
Jace Dillinger (Shrek) received 1st place with the most functional machine!
Jett Short and Elijah Olson (Mickey Mouse) received 2nd place.
Dani Riggs and Isabelle Richardson (Rocket in Space) received 3rd place.











Members from both the Viola Junior Beta Club and Senior Beta Club attended the Leadership Summit in Hot Springs earlier this week. At this event, the Junior Beta Club qualified for Nationals, which will be hosted this coming summer in Orlando!

The Viola Girls golf team competed today in the 1A State Tournament at the Mountain Ranch Golf Course in Fairfield Bay. As a team we finished 7th out of 12 teams with a 361.
Shayden Waltrip finished 10th with a 114. Avery Rogers had a personal best 116. Taylor Richardson also posted a personal best 131.
These sophomores made great strides to get better this season. We are very proud of their efforts this season, and looking forward to their golf futures at Viola!
