Today, we recognize and appreciate the hard work and dedication of custodians everywhere. These unsung heroes keep our spaces clean, safe, and welcoming, ensuring we can thrive in our environments. Let’s take a moment to thank them for their tireless efforts and the vital role they play in our communities. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed!

October marks the celebration of a special group of leaders in our community – our school principals. These dedicated individuals play a pivotal role in shaping our students’ futures and the trajectory of our education system.
Please help us thank our leaders, Mr. Powell (elementary) and Mr. Johnson (high school) for all that they do for our school and community! We appreciate you!

Volleyball Update
Our volleyball teams competed against ICC tonight. The 7th grade girls were able to get a 1-1 split.
Our jr girls lost 2 sets to 0, but competed very well vs a seasoned group from ICC.
The sr girls also lost 3-0. However, the third set of this match was very entertaining. Extra points were needed for ICC to win 27-25. I was very proud of our teams tonight in their efforts vs varsity competition.

Volleyball schedule update...
Our game with Midland on Sept. 30th has been cancelled. Midland had a conflict with another school event.
We have replaced that game with a home game vs. ICC. There will be 7th, jr, and sr games starting at 4:30.
On Tuesday, Oct. 1 we will play Koshkanong at 4:30. There will be a sr jv game that includes the 9th graders, and a sr varsity game.

Ms. Stone's Career Readiness class had mock interviews on Thursday with Lucinda Bishop from The Bank of Salem and our very own Mr. McCarn. The students watched examples of good interviews vs. bad interviews, then practiced a few good answers for questions to prepare. Each student walked out saying they got the job!!

Congratulations to the Longhorns on their impressive performances at the Bomber Open Cross Country Meet! 🎉 Special shoutout to Morgan Newberry for her 9th place finish in the Junior High Race and to Missy Wilson for her fantastic 4th place finish in the Senior High race. Great job representing your team and showing what hard work can achieve! Keep up the great momentum

Today, we celebrate the incredible role parents play in our lives. Whether through love, support, or guidance, they shape our futures in countless ways. Let’s take a moment to express gratitude for all the sacrifices they make and the lessons they impart. Share a memory, give them a call, or simply say “thank you” for all they do. Here’s to the amazing parents in our community!
