Due to incoming weather, todays baseball and softball games have been cancelled. The baseball game against Shirley has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 15th.

Summer ball forms are due this Friday, February 24th. If you need a new form, those can be picked up in the elementary or high school office.

Kadance Brewer competed in the Elk's Lodge Hoop Shoot contest on February 18 in Hot Springs. She placed 4th in her age division. We are proud of you, Kadance!

Mrs. May has emailed several local scholarship applications to seniors this week. She has also placed copies of the local scholarships on the shelf in the high school office. If you haven't completed your FAFSA, you need to do so as soon as possible. Also, if you plan to go to college in Arkansas, you need to complete the Arkansas scholarship application at https://sams.adhe.edu/. See Mrs. May if you need help.

Viola Schools will dismiss at 2:00 on Tuesday, February 14th and also on Thursday, February 16th due to hosting the senior high district tournament.

Child Development class completed a baby food taste test assignment yesterday. Students were challenged to guess baby foods based on sight, smell and then taste. Next week they will research prices of homemade vs store bought baby food.

You can still get your Val-O-Gram orders sent in today! If possible by 1:00. We can accept them at PT Conferences if needed.

The Love for Literacy activity originally scheduled for tonight and sponsored by Save the Children has been rescheduled for Friday, February 10th beginning at 5:30p.m.

Teachers and Parents! The Viola Robotics Team (Mechanically Challenged) would like to remind everyone that we will be having a "Souper Sale" and "Bakingly Challenged Silent Auction" at Parent/Teacher Conferences Friday! Come out from 2-6 pm and visit with your students' teachers, swing by and pick up a $5 bowl of soup, then come in and bid on a tasty dessert to share with the family!! ELEMENTARY PARENTS ARE ALSO WELCOME! We will have a kid friendly option for those picky eaters as well! Souper Sale: $5/bowl Menu: Tomato Basil, Potato, Broccoli Cheddar, Chili Kid Friendly: Mac and Cheese Soups will be set up at the end of the Hallway in the High School next to Mr. Thrashers' room. Save The Children is holding the February Parent-Child Group in the Viola School safe room tonight, February 6th @ 5p.m. Children of all ages are welcome to attend.
