Congratulations to the Junior High Girls Cross Country team! They competed at districts at Calico Rock and took first place as a team! Missy Wilson also took first place and Jaden Fry got 4th place individually. Way to finish the season off. Good job girls!

Mrs.Lester's 7th grade math class was involved in a Haunted House scavenger hunt. it was the spookiest place in town!
There will be a Cross Country meet Saturday the 18th at Mountain Home. We will leave the school at 7:30. Please be at the school by 7:15. Junior High Girls will run first at 9:00. Junior boys at 9:30. Senior Girls at 10:00. And finally Senior Boys at 10:35.

The Orange and Black game originally scheduled for Thursday, October 13th, has been moved to Friday, October 14th. Along with the basketball games, the Viola junior class will be hosting a silent auction as a fundraiser to pay for class functions. We look forward to seeing everyone this Friday night!

Today at recess we got the chance to allow some of our students to use the new handicap accessible swing!
Cross country practice will be held this Friday after school. Meet at the high school gym.

I teach strategies and supports for k-6 students. The pictures show the writing center, the SAFE strategy and two songs. The helping linking verb song is to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and preposition song is to the tune of "I've Been Working on the Railroad".

The 10th graders in Biology class are learning how engineering and science work hand in hand to solve real-world problems such as water scarcity. They are designing, building, and testing their own working models of a solar still to produce clean drinking water.
